We are happy to welcome Volker Hochwald Shihan, 6. Dan Dento Iwama Ryu Aikido, again for an exceptional seminar!

The Head of a professional Dojo in Stuttgart-Korntal (DE)* is official representative of the Iwama Shin Shin Aiki Shurenkai** association in Germany and trains at the Iwama Hombudojo with Grandmaster Saito Hitohira Kaicho on a regular basis.
Along with his main occupation as an Aikido teacher he practices as a certified self-assertion trainer for kids and teens and TacFit Instructor. In addition, he teaches as Instructor for motion exercise at the Academy for Performing Arts Baden-Württemberg.

The seminar is open to Aikidoka from all styles/associations
and will comprise training sessions in Bukiwaza and Taijutsu:
Friday 8 – 9 p.m.
Saturday 9.30 – 12 a.m. | 4 – 7 p.m. | 8 p.m. Party
Sunday 9.30 – 12 a.m.

  • Please bring your own Bokken, Jo and Tanto
  • Bukiwaza sessions will probably take place outdoors on the lawn area (bring adequate shoes)
  • Hakama 1st Dan upwards
  • Participation fee (payable in cash at the venue):
